Julia's Butterfly Palace

While it may be unassuming from the outside, anyone who passes through the doorway will find Julia's room transformed into a butterfly palace. Monarch butterflies will flutter freely through the large foyer and accompanying rooms and cluster on winding vines and colorful flowers that spiral up the walls. The palace itself is made up of simple wood, like an elegant farmhouse, punctuated with picture windows that tower over a seemingly endless span of green trees and tight wooded areas. In the glint of the sun, one can see the reflection of something surrounding the palace grounds, a barrier protecting it from the the outside world.

In the center of the main room is the throne made out of tangled wood that reflects the colors of the monarch. Next to the throne is a table and nestled upon it is a black egg which will, sporadically, come alive with pink lines of ascending stars.

Julia may be seated elegantly in her throne, a book in hand even as she reigns protectively over her precious egg, or she may be moving around the walls tending to her flowers, followed obediently by clouds of butterflies.

Some visitors may find her attentive servants to be docile, ignoring them altogether or even being warmly greeting them by flocking around them and landing on them gently. Others, however, may not have as pleasant a greeting - in Julia's world they can sting and scratch, especially when they have the chance to crowd around an unwelcome visitor.
